This Compact/Officers SLIM size set of grips is cut from highly chatoyant, quartersawn Master Grade Hades Roasted curly Maple. The wood is actually heat treated (literally roasted) which collapses the cell structure, making it more dense. The gorgeous color is a byproduct of the process, and it accentuates the chatoyance, too. This set is cut with a beveled bottom and main spring housing pin reveal cuts.
