SOLD This is Hades Roasted Curly Maple, a very beautifully chatoyant medium roast. Roasting is a wood stabilization method which subjects the wood to high (500+ F degrees) temperature, collapsing the cellular structure of the wood. This makes a very dry and stable product, and in this case has the added benefit of color enhancement. Maple is usually pale, whereas this roast is a very pretty dark honey color. This handsome Compact set is cut for ambi safety controls and is protected by a hand-rubbed topcoat. SOLD
