SOLD This set of slim bobtail grips was cut from a block of incredibly beautiful Exhibition Grade Chittam burl, and showcases the chatoyance and bold "ray" figure for which this wood is renown. I mounted them on a backer of black G10 to give them a bit more stability. The chatoyance (the word is from the French language, and roughly means "cat's eye") causes the light to seem to dance across the surface with changes in lighting angles. The effect is one that can be described with words, but must be seen in person in order to experience the full effect. This set is cut for ambidextrous safety, and it requires the use of specific slim grip screws and bushings.
